Detailed Description of Embodiments This invention relates to a wooden plug 1 intended to be used for concealing a recess 2, a recess, a hole or the like, in a device 3. The wooden plug 1 comprises a first part 1.1 which is arranged into the recess 2 for retaining the wooden plug. 1 in and at the recess 2 and a second part 1.2 covering the opening of the recess 2.1.
The first part 1.1 of the wooden plug comprises a portion 1.1a which extends wholly or partly along the length L of the first part, which has a circumference ø1 which is larger than the other body formation of the first part and which, when the wooden plug 1 is in mounted position, abuts the recess wall 2.2. This portion 1.1a is a protruding whale, a bead, a thickening, a ridge, which runs around the first part 1.1. The portion 1.1a constitutes a widening of the first part 1.1 of the wooden plug in the radial direction out from the center line of the plug, longitudinal direction A. See Figs. 1 and 2.
When the plug 1 is made of wood, it becomes failing in its construction, which makes it possible to insert the wooden plug 1 into the recess 2. The portion 1.1a will act against the wall 2.2 of the recess so that the wooden plug 1 is retained in the recess 2. The lightly compressed wood material in the portion 1.1a will strive to regain its original shape which ensures a compressive force P1 from the portion 1.1a of the wooden plug against the recess wall 2.2 which results in a holding force P2 in the direction from the wall 2.2 against the wooden plug 1.
The holding force P2 can be overcome by a person's hand force so that the wooden plug 1 can be removed from the recess 2. The removal takes place without damage to the wooden plug 1, which means that the wooden plug 1 can be used again in the same recess 2 or in another recess.
To ensure the failing ability of the structure, the wooden plug 1 should be manufactured so that the finished wooden plug has the fibers of the wood arranged in the longitudinal direction A of the wooden plug, that it is manufactured so that the longitudinal direction A of the wooden plug follows the original longitudinal direction of the tree and annual rings.
As quality and hardness vary in the annual rings, this will give rise to failing properties of the wooden plug 1 and especially to the part 1.1a.

This makes the wooden plug 1 easier to insert and place in and over the recess 2 at the same time as it, thanks to the force P2 which arises between the portion 1.1 of the plug and the recess wall 2.2, will be retained in the recess 2 and be fixed on a stable and stable way. The failing construction also ensures that the wooden plug 1 regains its original shape when it is removed from the recess 2.

The first part 1.1 also comprises a second end 1.1c which is connected to the second part 1.2 and which has a circumference, a diameter (254 which is smaller than the circumference of the portion, diameter ø1.
The first part 1.1 and the second part 1.2 of the wooden plug 1 are made in a single piece, piece of wood.
The part 1.1a of the wooden plug is, when the wooden plug 1 is seen in a longitudinal section, arched in the direction out from the wooden plug 1, in the longitudinal direction A of the wooden plug, towards the recess wall 2.2.
The portion 1.1a can also be described as pointed but the insertion of the wooden plug 1 becomes easier and the retaining force P2 gets a better distribution if the portion 1.1a is not pointed but a little more softly shaped.
The second part 1.2 of the wooden plug has a diameter ø5 which is larger than the diameter (252 of the recess 2 and suitably also larger than the diameter ø1 of the portion. Assembly and disassembly, handling, of the wooden plug 1 is facilitated if the second part 1.2 has a size which clarifies that this part is the part which is to be outside the recess 2 and which is also grippable.The second part 1.2 comprises a first side 1.2a which faces the device 3 and which, when the wooden plug 1 is in mounted position, abuts against the device 3 around the opening 2.1 of the recess. A wooden plug 1 according to this invention is intended to be used to hide a recess 2 in a device 3 where the device 3 is made of wood. Since the holding force P2 can be overcome by a person's hand force, the wooden plug 1 can be removed from the recess 2 so that it becomes possible to access the fastener 4 to remove it or replace it.
